Kern is a word game about handling letters with care. Three ways to play, one fair leaderboard, and living worlds that react to the words you find.

Three modes, one score:

Wheel — swipe through a letter wheel to spell words that fill a mini crossword. Extra words bank as bonus finds.
Search — classic word search with a twist: every hidden word belongs to the world you're in. An Ocean board hides ocean words.
Chain — drag any path through neighboring letters and build your own words. The board hides more than you think.

Every puzzle carries a computed par, and your score is your quality against par plus a speed bonus — the same formula in every mode, every world, every level. No theme or setting can buy points. That's what makes the daily leaderboard one competition instead of three.

Worlds that play back:

Play inside eight evergreen worlds — Ocean, Sunset, Forest, Desert, Library, Park, River, or the Print Shop. Each world has its own light, its own tiles, and its own generated music — and it listens. Long words send a pulse through the board. Streaks build the world's energy. And when you find a word that belongs to the world — CORAL in the Ocean, FOLIO in the Library — the world answers with something special.

Ten more arrive on their own calendar: Winter, Spring, Easter, Summer, Fourth of July, Autumn, Halloween, Harvest, Snowfall, and Midnight for New Year's. No downloads, no events to join — they simply appear when their season does.

No accounts. No ads. No subscriptions. No data collection — nothing leaves your device except the Game Center scores you choose to post. Works fully offline, on iPhone and iPad, in any window size. Music is generated on device, so no two sessions sound the same.
