Tap. Bounce. Compose.
Grumpy Grid is a musical playground where bouncing balls play your tunes. Place a colored ball anywhere on the canvas and it falls into a steady, perfect bounce on a row of musical pads below — playing a note every time it lands. Drop a few more, and a rhythm builds itself.
No tutorials, no learning curve. The eight pads are tuned so anything you place sounds harmonic together. Drop balls higher for slower, sparser rhythms; lower for faster, busier ones. Stagger your taps to layer notes a fraction of a beat apart and you've got a loop.
Made for play and for sketching:
• Eight glowing color pads, each tuned to its own pitch
• Snap to quarter, eighth, sixteenth, or eighth-triplet rails for tight grooves
• Save and rename your sessions — every ball's bounce timing comes back exactly as you left it
• Eraser for surgical edits; Clear wipes the canvas; Pause actually pauses time
• Universal: iPhone in landscape, iPad in any orientation
