JLMahJongg’s three skill levels and optional help features support both new and experienced American MahJongg players. Help features include hand hints, best hand lists, best group lists, game save, top scores, selectable speed, defense feedback, statistics, and automatic tile sorting. You can play against computer players that have selectable defensive and offensive skill. Standard or custom-made voices can call the discarded tiles. Both standard and custom Mah Jongg tile sets can be selected. JLMahJongg automatically calculates scores and rotates players after each game. Players can join as an observer to watch and learn how to play or to predict who will win. Hand and tile statistics can be used to improve skill or to evaluate potential new card designs. Other features include training exercises, win history, and skill rating feedback. Playing over the Internet supports both direct player-to-player (P2P) or external server interfaces. Standard Internet and server protocols are supported.
