Dumbest feature ever

Ordered online. I purposely waited to align my arrival with perfect pickup time. Instead, without option, after order, it told me it would use some cool new way to track my proximity to start my order. Didn’t start my order until I was at the restaurant. Can’t wait to delete this app right after this review. I don’t need an app to track me and force me to background app refresh.

They replied telling me they just want to make sure it is fresh? Well yea I understand what they’re trying to do. But they don’t understand app design and how some people don’t want apps to invade privacy and enforce data usage. Let the user choose. Terrible Ux. Hope this clue is gotten in this updated review.

Frustrating Location and Order Start Times

I consistently use this app for pickup near my work and the app is so annoying when it comes to tracking my location properly and actually starting my order. I can literally be inside the Chik-Fil-A and have to close and reopen the app multiple times to get it to even start my order. I want my food to be ready when I get there. I am dissatisfied with this experience.

LITERALLY THE BEST

Chick fil a has been my go to on busy nights when I have sports and school!! It is literally the best and the food is beyond compare and the workers are always so nice with a my pleasure!! They are so helpful and get my delicious frosted root beer after a long day! The fries are amazing would recommend loll!!

Not Gluten Free Friendly

The app at least. Which is why I don’t get it. The business as a whole and the restaurant seems to get it. But my celiac child has specific allergy needs and there is not a way in app to note or select that. So we can’t really use it when we order food for them.

Order ahead is not real

I’m using an app to order my food ahead of time so that when I get there it’s ready. This app won’t let your order be seen until your location says your at chic fil a. Sometimes people need to order food ahead of time because they don’t have a lot of time and this app doesn’t accommodate for that.

Removed option to report issues

There used to be an option to report issues with your order and have it resolved immediately. That no longer exists. Please add it back.

While the cfacares form did work to resolve our issue at the time, the in-app resolution was much easier and faster.
