Not what it used to be
This kid needs to be so competitive against other people but now it just feels like I’m playing with just myself. I sat there and watch “someone missed a bunch of stuff to eat and they didn’t even grow. Some of them purposely skipped some. I don’t know I like computing with other people in this game.

Ads and dark patterns - terrible
If the number of enforced ads wasn’t bad enough, the dark patterns should be reason to avoid this. The “play” and “next level” buttons get overwritten with purchase buttons, hoping to fool you into spending money. The ads are forced, and start with single ads, then two together, then three - to the point where you spend more time being forced to watch ads than you spend playing the game. This ruined the free-to-play hole.io web game by turning into a cash-grab app.

Long ad mid match followed by one afterwards.
A long ad mid match is nasty work. Followed by another add afterwards? I’ve never deleted an app so quick. Nasty work.

Ad.IO
Listen, I get having ads. Make that bag. However, one level takes at minimum 15 minutes because of the exorbitant amount of ads. You can pay 10 dollars to remove them, but I was interrupted 5 times in one level. It don’t want to support a company who thinks that’s okay… I’d be more willing to remove ads, and have done so in the past, but not if it’s clear the company is being greedy. It’s a fun game granted but I never deleted an app quicker.
