Good Reliability, Platform needs tweaks

The new sports-only package is perfect for someone who only needs sports. Even gets you USA, TNT, and the other ones you usually don’t need. However, the only downside is not being able to connect my Apple TV service to have the live guide for MLS as well as my Paramount subscription so UFC fights can be watched on here as well. Having ESPN unlimited is is good but this service still lacks in some areas. Small tweak that would make a big difference is the design. It is very clunky and feels a bit out of date. The channel logos, should be bigger and more distinct inside the guide. To see the guide after watching a game shouldn’t make the current game go into Picture-in-Picture Mode. This should be native in the app like it is on TV’s etc.

Totally confused

As an adult, I could not understand the enrollment process. Seems very poorly designed. Maybe this is for teenagers as opposed to the people who watch football and pay the bills

Worst customer service and deceptive advertising

I recently decided to give YouTube TV a chance to earn my business by starting a free trial. I only wanted the sports package but their clunky subscription pages only enabled a trial for the full package, so I started that expecting to downgrade if I chose to start a paid subscription.
Overall, I found it to be useful but WAY too expensive for a full plan at full price. But the sports plan at a discounted rate of $42.99 seemed fair. But they then refused to offer that promo rate because I took the trial for the full package (because their site wouldn’t process a sports trial even though advertising one as available).
I called customer service (in India of course) and they said there was no way they could override their policies. I asked to speak with a manager and they said no one was available.
We went round and round for 20+ minutes getting nowhere. They preferred to lose a customer rather than honor their own advertised promotions. Shame!

Extra commercials, hard to navigate

The app, especially the Apple TV app, is difficult to navigate. The search feature is nearly useless; unless you spell it exactly, and you better be sure the title is correct. And don’t get me started with the on demand video adds; if you complete the 6 or more adds in the middle of your program and then try to back it up because it randomly cut a key conversation short, you’ll be watching this adds all over again. The app in short is annoying. The pricing is atrocious. And if wasn’t for the Sunday Ticket I’d never purchase it.

Overpriced and Difficult to cancel

I took advantage of the 10 day trial, with intention of cancelling before being billed $85 for a month of service.

The price is far too high for me, considering that I just want to watch one football game per week.

Cancelling should be easy like with every other subscription based streaming service, but it isn’t. After being sent to a website, my TV subscriptions settings, Google Play subscriptions page and the app itself, I was unable to find a cancel button. I had to call and wait on hold, and answer questions about my decision. Instead of apologizing for the inconvenience, they wanted me to consider how my family feels about the app and if they would like to keep it.

It’s pretty scummy for YoutubeTV to run the same playbook as the cable providers.

Sunday Ticket Multi-view

Tell me why I’m paying $240 dollars and half the time ALL 4 GAMES scrunch up to the top of the screen so I can’t see any of them. Please fix this stupid bug because people pay big money for this and I should not be operating like it has been this week.

Can’t start watching the game from the beginning if the game is still on. If I could give a lower score I would. The user experience terrible - NFL should go back to DirecTV. YouTube TV SUCKS- fire someone.

Too expensive

We should not be forced to pay that much just to be able to watch only your favorite teams games. That’s also what’s wrong when did we want to watch all these other teams to distract us from our game, our team, and our players. Definitely not worth 500$, it’s like buying a seat to a game but you don’t get to watch it if it’s not in your area and you don’t have a ride with no refunds. Oh but you get a 7 day free trial. Pathetic how expensive this is and we don’t even get to watch all of our favorite teams games. Drop the price down a lot not a little please and thank you. Definitely not worth paying 500$ a year!

Location issues

If the app detects that you’ve left your home area (which it will often if you travel to even another town), then good luck watching on your TV. Confirming my playback area has been a recurring nightmare, that usually ends in me calling YouTube TV support and consumes ~10-30 minutes. Inexcusable.

Worthless

I’d never spend that much money just to have my Red Sox stream disabled. I instantly canceled. I’m thankful I didn’t waste real money on an app that may or may not have my games. The greed with these billion dollar streaming services knows no bounds.

Location Verification

Love YouTube TV

Since switching to YouTube TV I’ve been very satisfied with everything. I love being able to to navigate their channels picture quality is great especially 4K and what can i say about NFL Ticket but it’s the best. IVE should’ve may the switch a long time ago.

Horrible app… download Fubo

Won’t even play local games. This app sucks badly. Just keep scrolling g to another app that you can actually watch football with. Thanks for nothing. Thank god they had a trial. Only took me less than 24 hours to choose a much better streaming service than this one.
