About

The grown-up Euchre app. Free to play, with one $0.99 unlock, fair AI, and a partner who knows what they are doing. No ads, no subscriptions, no accounts. Works offline. WHY THE NAME Search the App Store for Euchre and the screenshots blur into one pile of rainbow gradients, spinning wheels and "REMOVE ADS" upsells. The name says it: this one isn't that. No banner, no video between hands, nothing that swallows the tap you meant to use to name trump. None, ever. The single $0.99 unlock removes the per-game coin cost forever, and that is the entire monetization. A PARTNER WHO CAN PLAY Your partner plays competently at every difficulty. Turning the difficulty down makes your OPPONENTS easier. It never makes your partner worse, because nobody enjoys losing to their own teammate. WHAT MAKES THE AI FAIR • Three tiers, Easy, Normal and Hard, and all three play fair. Each opponent sees what you see: the tricks already played, the card turned up, and its own hand. It cannot look at your cards, and that is enforced by how the code is built, not promised in a description. • The deal is a plain shuffle. It does not know your score, it does not know your coin balance, and it does not get harder when you are winning. • Hard plays by solving the hand. It imagines how the unseen cards could be arranged, plays each out exactly, and picks the card that does best on average. It is strong because it thinks, not because it peeks. • Hint button anytime: the card Hard would play in your position, and a one-line reason. EUCHRE, PLAYED PROPERLY • Right and left bowers handled correctly, including the part most versions get wrong. With hearts as trump, the jack of diamonds IS a heart. It does not follow a diamond lead, and leading it makes a trump trick. • Going alone, scored properly: four points for sweeping all five, one point for taking three or four. The bonus is for the march, not the risk. • Getting euchred pays the other side two points whether or not the makers went alone. • Stick the dealer, on by default and switchable off. Play to 7, 10 or 11. HOW THE COIN SYSTEM WORKS • Start with 250 coins. Each game costs 50, so five games before you have earned anything. • Get 100 free coins the first time you open the app each day, two more games. They add to what you have rather than topping you up to a limit, so what you don't spend is still there next time. • Winning pays the entry back in full, so a game you win costs nothing. • The moments worth talking about pay on top: 8 for euchring the other side, 12 for bringing a loner home, 4 for a plain march. • Four powerups, priced against a 50-coin game: the play log at 3, a hint at 4, undo at 8, a look at every card still out there at 20. • One $0.99 unlock makes games and all four powerups free forever. CORE GAMEPLAY • Autosave after every move. Resume after a call, a force-quit or a relaunch. No lost hands. • Statistics that track what matters in Euchre: how often your calls come off, how many loners you bring home, how often you send the other side down. PRESENTATION • Thirty-two card backs, six card face styles and four felts, each with a live preview of your own table. • Felt inside a wood surround, every seat in its own place, the tricks each side has taken engraved beside them. • Universal for iPhone and iPad. Portrait and landscape. Not a stretched phone UI. • Random animal-emoji opponents, a different cast every match. Haptic feedback on iPhone. WHAT THIS APP IS NOT • Not ad-supported. No ads, ever. • Not subscription-based. No recurring charges. • No coin packs, no second-tier monetization. The one unlock is the only purchase. • No accounts, no sign-in, no analytics opt-in modals. • No multiplayer, no servers. Just you and your partner against two AI opponents. Free to download. The optional $0.99 unlock removes the per-game cost and makes every powerup free. Privacy Policy: https://blite.github.io/Euchre/privacy/ Terms of Use: https://blite.github.io/Euchre/terms/
