About

Sidecall records conversations through your iPhone’s microphone and turns them into transcripts, summaries and follow-ups. During a meeting, follow the live transcript and get suggested questions from Sidecall’s coach. Ask questions about the conversation, then return to the recording and its notes afterward. Add people before you start. Reuse an existing name, correct a speaker on a finished recording, or save a clear voice sample to help Sidecall recognize you next time. Speaker names may still need correction. Find a person or organization to see related calls and follow-ups. See recent conversations, open items and older unresolved items, with links back to their source. Paste a public YouTube link for a transcript and notes, or import a supported audio or video file from a direct HTTPS link. YouTube playback stays on YouTube. Sidecall does not download YouTube audio or video. Timestamps and speaker labels in a YouTube transcript are estimates. Sign in with Apple to use the service operated by Candlefish. New calls recorded in Sidecall are personal by default. Choose a room to give its members access. Adding someone's name does not give them access to a personal call. Service administrators can access calls. Imports and older recordings keep their existing access settings. A share link is optional. Anyone with the link can open it or forward it until you revoke it. Private notes, preparation and coaching are excluded from share links unless you choose to include them. Creating a link is separate from sending a call to Suite CRM. Revoking a link cannot remove copies already saved elsewhere. Audio and text are processed by the service and its AI providers; see the privacy policy for details. The microphone does not capture audio directly from another app or a cellular call. Internet access is needed for transcription and coaching. Explore the built-in demo without signing in.
